What's new on Cancer Care Map this week

 
 

There are now 640 care and support organisations featured on our Cancer Care Map. From Orkney in the North to Cornwall in the South, we are adding new organisations every week that are offering help to families affected by cancer across the UK. Here are just a few of a latest that have been added, offering vital support to people when they need it most.

The Leukaemia Care Helpline is a great resource offering a nationwide helpline for anyone affected by blood cancer. As well as calling them you can also chat to an advisor on WhatsApp with any questions or concerns you may have.

In Barnet, the Cherry Lodge Cancer Care Centre provides information, support groups, complementary therapies and psychological to people affected by cancer including families and carers. The service provides welfare and benefit advice and also offers a befriending service to provide practical and emotional support.

Another fantastic resource for anyone undergoing surgery for breast cancer is an organisation called Nicola Jane that specialises in a range of post-surgery pocketed bras, swimwear, prostheses and clothing; all carefully designed especially for you, whether you have had a full or partial mastectomy, lumpectomy or reconstructive surgery. As well as localised fitting services in some regions, they have a helpline and online shop,
