CancerLIFE Self Support Group

What   A drop in support group for people affected by cancer in Enfield and the surrounding area. The group offers an opportunity for people living with cancer to relax, access support, information and meet others who understand how cancer can affect you. Taster sessions of complementary therapy are also available.

Where  The group meets twice monthly at the Disability Resource Centre in Enfield on the second Thursday and the last Tuesday of every month between 10 - 1pm.

Leeds Cancer Support

What  Drop-in information and support centre that provides support to people living with cancer. They offer a range of health & wellbeing therapies which include massage, reflexology, yoga, reiki, cranio-sacral therapy plus many others. Specialist staff and trained volunteers are on hand to talk through the services available and help you to decide which are the most beneficial to you. The centre also offers a hair loss support service, which includes hair loss advice, wig fitting and care, cutting and styling.

Duffus Cancer Foundation

What   Charity that provides local support service for children and young people aged 8-17 years of age, who have experienced emotional hardship, such as having a loved one with cancer.  It provide two types pf programmes: ‘Right Track’ and 'Your Space', designed to provide young people with strategies to increase resilience and overall wellbeing, along with fun activities, advice and guidance. The service also offers advice on financial benefits available to families.
