What  Bereavement support service for people in East Kent. Bereavement support volunteers are there to listen and help people through their feelings of grief, and they can advise on some coping strategies. Support is offered over a 30-minute support call and a second follow up call, they will signpost to other support services if ongoing bereavement councelling or support is needed.

Yoga can help with relaxation and reduce the stress, anxiety and depression that often come with cancer and cancer treatments. The classes are taught by a Level 4 Cancer and Exercise Rehabilitation specialist and certified yoga instructor.

What  Free NHS physical activity guidelines. Physical activity is extremely important to improving and maintaining health, and reducing the risk of many illnesses and conditions. The guidelines provide information on the different types of physical actvity and exercises, the needs at different stages from childhood through to adulthood and old age, how much exercise to do, and how to incorporate exercise and activities into daily life.

What  Chaplaincy services available at East Kent University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to support people living with cancer and their loved ones through difficult times. Chaplaincy services are available to everyone and people do not have to be in any way 'religious' to see a Chaplain. Chaplains are there to listen, encourage, question and support during periods of difficulty. The Chaplaincy department has representatives of all major Christian denominations and has contacts with all major world-faith groups in the area.
