Macmillan Benefits Service at Toynbee Hall
Macmillan service offering free, confidential and impartial benefits advice to people with cancer. It helps people access benefits, tax credits and charitable grants, including help with health costs such as travelling to the hospital for treatment, household, fuel and transport costs. It also gives basic advice on debt, employment or housing, and signposts to specialist advisers if required. People can call Monday to Thursday, 12.30 to 3.30pm. Face to face appointments are offered to in and outpatients of St Bartholomew’s, Newham University and Whipps Cross, Royal London and Homerton hospitals.

This service is available to people who live in Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas or are patients of St Bartholomew’s, Newham University, Whipps Cross, Royal London or Homerton hospitals. Referrals can be by a cancer nurse, specialist or doctor, or call the number provided
