Aftercare clinic offering advice, information and support to teenagers and young people after treatment for cancer has been completed. The aftercare team is made up of doctors, a nurse specialist and a Macmillan support worker. Services include information on a particular cancer and its treatment, psychological support, referral to other professionals or specialist teams if needed, discussion as to the need for any additional tests or check-ups and advice on healthy living, fertility, benefits, employment and education.
Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC) or the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre (BHOC)
Teenagers and young adults who were treated for cancer or leukaemia (or certain related conditions) from the ages of 0-24People can self-refer to the service or ask their GP to refer them
