The Joshua Tree- North Wales


Charity that provides family support when a child or young adult up to the age of 24 is diagnosed with cancer. The service have family support workers based in across North Wales that provide emotional well-being support to children and teenagers in school. This includes the siblings of those diagnosed with cancer. They also provide support to parents, carers, grandparents at home and within the community, this includes visits to their homes or organised adult well-being events. In addition the service allow families to access online services such as one to one counselling. It works with families and their schools to provide support that is tailored to their needs and signposts to other local services. Contact the service for more information.


North Wales


Following a childhood cancer diagnosis, support is given to children, young adults, siblings, parents, grandparents, school and family friends who would benefit from support. This support is not time-limited and is provided irrespective of when the diagnosis was first made
