Support Families Affected by Childhood Cancer
Charity that provides family support when a child or young adult up to the age of 24 is diagnosed with cancer. It works with families and their schools to provide support that is tailored to their needs. The service provides emotional, educational, practical support and signposting, as well as acting as an advocate for the child and their family when needed. Additional services include counselling, art therapy educational support, fitness and nutrition sessions. Following a childhood cancer diagnosis, support is given to support children, young adult, siblings, parents, grandparents, school and family friends who would benefit from support. This support is not time-limited and is provided irrespective of when the diagnosis was first made
