What  Penny Brohn UK provides physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual support to help anyone affected by cancer. They offer courses, groups and individual sessions of counselling and have a range of complementary therapies and courses that can help you in areas such as diet, exercise, relationships and managing stress.

What  It’s On The Ball is a registered charity which aims to raise awareness of testicular cancer, and provides support to patients and their family. The charity is run by testicular cancer survivors and relatives, with assistance from members of the Oncology department at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.

What   St Margaret's Hospice Care provides end of life care to those with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer. Through their medical and nursing staff and specialist support services, they provide physical, emotional and spiritual care to patients and their loved ones. They also offer a wide range of complementary therapies, such as aromatherapy, massage, reflexology and diversional therapy for patients.

What   Cancer Care Centre at York Hospital offers psychological and emotional support for patients and families. There is an information service, access to complementary therapies, benefit and welfare advice and hair loss support. The centre can also advise about local support groups designed to help patient and family members cope with initial diagnosis, during treatment and after; as well as hosting ‘Look Good…Feel Better’ skincare and make-up workshops to help combat the visible side-effects of cancer treatment.

What  The Ovarian Cancer Support Group is a support group for women who have undergone or who are receiving treatment for ovarian cancer.  The aim of the group is to help and connect those affected by ovarian cancer, allow members to talk and share experiences, offer emotional support, and provide information. There is also tea and cake.

Where  The group meets monthly at Cambridge Cancer Help Centre on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 2pm to 3.30pm.

What   Cancer Aid Merthyr Tydfil provides practical and emotional support for cancer patients, and their families, during and after diagnosis. Patients can drop in, access information, have a cup of tea, and register to access all the services on offer. Some of the servies they offer are massage therapy, acupuncture, bra fitting for breast cancer patients, and Family or couples therapy.
