If you think you might have cancer, or if you have already been diagnosed, medical services will be at the heart of your care.
When you are living with cancer, there are lots of services on offer to help you feel as well as possible – not only physically, but also emotionally.
If you are affected by cancer, this may be a very difficult time for you and your loved ones. Talking it through can help you make sense of what is happening and cope with difficult feelings.
A cancer diagnosis affects every area of life – from driving, to concerns about work, to coping with the housework. Here you can find out more about what support is on offer.

How can CancerCareMap.org help?

Cancer Care Map is a simple, online resource that aims to help people find cancer-related services in their local area wherever you are in the UK. People with cancer and their friends and family can either search for a service or can browse the types of services available. It uses stories and videos to show how the services have benefited other people living with cancer and their friends and family.

Cancer Care Map aims to join up care, to make sure that no person goes unsupported because they are not aware of a service in their local area. It is tailored to people with cancer, and their family members. It is also designed for healthcare professionals to use in consultations.

About the listings

We know how annoying it is to click through to out-of-date listings. That’s why we have staff dedicated to regularly updating the details on this website. But services can come and go. So let us know if we have missed something, if anything isn’t working or no longer available, or if any details need updating.

Listings are open to all providers and this site does not review or recommend services. However, we reserve the right to refuse inclusion if we believe the treatments provided may conflict with NHS guidance.

This project has been made possible in part by a grant from Postcode Community Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
