Breast Cancer Support Group - Kilmarnock

Support group for people living with and beyond breast cancer. Meet others with shared experiences and get support. The group is held in person fortnightly on a Tuesday, 7pm to 9pm. Contact the group facilitator, Susan, for more information.

5k Your Way Parkrun Group - Dean Castle, Kilmarnock

Community-based support group for anyone affected by cancer. Meeting on the last Saturday of every month, the meetups encourage people of all ages and abilities to walk, jog or run all or part of the 5k route and socialise afterwards. Ayrshire Cancer Support - Hospital Transport Service

Hospital transport service helping people get to and from appointments. People are collected directly from their homes, accompanied to the hospital and driven home after treatment is completed. Transport is available from Monday to Friday, and at weekends on request, and can be arranged by contacting the charity's head office in Kilmarnock.

Doing it for Daniel Foundation - support for children with cancer in Glasgow

Charity providing gifts, experiences, days out and holidays to children with cancer at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow and The Beatson Cancer Centre. Give a Dog a Bone

Charity for people aged 60 and over. It offers financial support so older adults can afford a rescue pet. This includes the cost of pet food and/or insurance, but not vet bills. Inspire Therapies - integrative complementary therapy

Integrative complementary therapist offering holistic therapies for people living with and beyond cancer. Former nurse Susan Savage provides massage, reflexology, facials and reiki. You can refer yourself or get referred by your local Macmillan team. Consult your cancer team or GP before making any lifestyle changes.
