What   Penny Brohn UK are now delivering Living Well Courses from Dumfries House, Ayrshire. This is a two-day, non-residential course that explores the various aspects of our Whole Life Approach and how it can help you live well with the impacts of cancer. You’ll discover simple ways to eat well, manage stress and stay active to support your on-going health. For more information please contact the service.

Macmillan Cancer Support Information Centre at St. Bartholomew's Hospital

What   The Macmillan Information and Support Centre offers free and confidential information and support in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Whether you have questions about prevention, have just been diagnosed, or are living with and beyond cancer the service is there to help. Services include: counselling, benefits advice, self-help and support, practical support, courses and workshops. Open Monday to Friday, 10am to 12 noon and 2pm-4.30pm (except bank holidays). Please contact the service for further details.

Hospice Hope - Hope House Day Respite Service

What  Hospice Hope provides pastoral care, social and peer support to anyone living with a life-limiting condition.  Hope House is a day respite service in North West Leicestershire that can provide support, independence and confidenceto someone faced with the challenges of living with illness that can’t be beaten. During the day you can talk to trained staff, volunteers and other people going through a similar experience.

Integrated Complementary Therapies

What   Integrated Cancer Therapies is a registered charity specialising in delivering complementary therapy to people with cancer living in Northamptonshire. Their purpose is to improve the well-being of people with cancer by providing a drop-in support group and evidence-based complementary therapies. Therapies offered are Therapeutic Massage, Therapeutic Touch, Reflexology, and Acupuncture for an entirely patient centred approach. No charge will be made to the patient for any therapies provided by ICT.
