What   Penny Brohn UK are now delivering Living Well Courses from Dumfries House, Ayrshire. This is a two-day, non-residential course that explores the various aspects of our Whole Life Approach and how it can help you live well with the impacts of cancer. Where now? Support beyond treatment programme

What      Where Now? is a seven-week course for anyone who has finished their cancer treatment, as well as their friends and family. It offers skills and techniques to support those through this transition period and beyond. Where Now? helps manage the physical, emotional and practical issues people may face after their treatment has finished, through a series of group sessions each lasting around three hours.

Complementary Therapy Centre, Northamptonshire

What   The Dunstone Bennett Complementary Centre which offers support for people in Northamptonshire on a journey through any type of cancer. The complementary health centre is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who work closely with medical staff at Northampton General Hospital and Macmillan, providing services for cancer patients, their family members, loved ones and carers. Services offered are a range of Complementary therapy ranging including reiki; indian head massage; reflexology and more.

What   South Bucks Hospice emphasises a holistic approach to palliative care to people diagnosed which a life limiting or long term illness, and offer a range of services free of charge. The service offer a day hospice, advice and support to all professional allied health and social care organisations involved in the patients’ palliative and end of life care. The hospice advocate holistic care, and so support families and carers of patients.

Brain Tumour Action

What   Brain Tumour Action provide information, support and counselling to brain tumour patients, their relatives and friends. The service offer a confidential helpline whereby people may to talk to a trained, experienced counsellor. The service also provides information leaflets and booklets available for individuals and hospital wards on various aspects of living with a brain tumour and advertise local groups up and down the country as well as running their own support group.

What   This supportive care directory focuses on the most common sources of distress that people with cancer may experience. The directory offers options to help deal with these issues and makes suggestions for local and national support. It can give background information to help patients and professionals find ways in which they can help manage the distresses which may arise through a persons cancer experience.

Breast Cancer Support Group, Stratford- Upon- Avon

What   Bounce Back is a support group run by and for local women who have had a breast cancer diagnosis. They welcome those who are newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment or at any other point in their cancer journey. They are a small, friendly group of women who have come together to share experiences and emotional support. 

Where   Lifeways Centre, Stratford-upon-Avon. The group meet every second Wednesday of the month from 6pm-8pm.
