Paddlers for Life Dragon Boat Team

What

Dragon boat team of cancer survivors and their supporters. The group paddles on Lake Windermere, Cumbria, and offers a positive and supportive environment. Its aim is to improve strength and fitness, help to avoid/reduce some side effects of cancer treatment, improve long-term physical and mental health, and to meet new people. All equipment is provided, with occasional workshops, guest speakers, and other activities. See website for more information, including fees and health advice before paddling.
