Adapt North East – Transport service

What

Dial-A-Ride community transport scheme, for people who are disabled, elderly and/or socially isolated that find it difficult to access services. It aims to reduce isolation and restore independence for those living in rural areas or living with a disability. It costs £10.00 per year to become a member. They also provide an affordable wheelchair loan scheme and run a Community Hub in Hexham, open Tuesday to Thursday. For more information and to check eligibility, see the website.
