What
A community-based initiative to encourage those living with and beyond cancer, to walk, jog, run, cheer or volunteer at a local 5k Your Way parkrun event on the last Saturday of every month, followed by a cup of tea and a chat. All ages and abilities welcome. For more information please visit the website and register with parkrun to get your barcode www.parkrun.org.uk/register. For anyone uncomfortable with meeting up during COVID there are also number of virtual meet ups like (Not) 5K Your Way or the 5K Your Way Pinball Parkrun Challenge that people can take part in wherever, whenever and for whatever distance they like. They also have a number of lockdown resources such as Q&As, at-home exercise sessions, and 5KYW community and expert blogs available on the website.
