Charity that provides specialist palliative care to support people living with cancer and other life-limiting conditions. It provides palliative care and bereavement support in their specialist inpatient unit via virtual day therapy support, lymphoedema clinics and a 'palliative care at home' service. In addition there is a hub offering 24 hour telephone support and night sits for people in the local community who prefer to receive palliative care at home. Its multidisciplinary team includes Sue Ryder nurses, doctors, consultants, occupational therapists , phsyiotherapists, complementary therapists, spiritual care and a family support team.
