Martin House Children’s Hospice

What

Children’s hospice providing specialist palliative care and support for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions, and their families. Services include planned short breaks, symptom management, emergency and community care, end of life care and bereavement support. Care is available 24/7 at the hospice in Boston Spa, in hospitals and in families’ own homes. See website for more information.

Who

Babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions, and their families and carers. Bereavement support is also available to families, including those whose child did not previously receive care from Martin House, or following a sudden death. Referrals can be made by families or healthcare professionals
