National Research Trial for Familial Pancreatic Cancer and Hereditary Pancreatitis

What

Trial aiming to understand inherited conditions of the pancreas - hereditary pancreatitis (HP) and familial pancreatic cancer (FPC). HP is where there is a family history of pancreatitis and FPC is where there's a family history of pancreatic cancer. People with a family history of pancreatic cancer or pancreatitis can be referred to the study. Those considered at higher risk of developing pancreatic cancer will be offered secondary cancer screening.
