What

Charity supporting the whole family of a seriously unwell child. Support is tailored to the needs of the family and may include: listening to fears and anxieties, help explaining the diagnosis and treatment, keeping the ill child company during hospital stays, driving to medical appointments, fun activities for the child and their siblings, and bereavement support. Where

The north east team covers Northumberland, Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Durham, Darlington, Hartlepool, Sunderland, Stockton, Redcar and Cleveland, and Middlesbrough

Who

Families with a child aged 0 to 18 living with a life threatening or terminal condition, including parents, carers, brothers, sisters and grandparents. Anyone can refer with the consent of the family concerned
