Pre and post-bereavement support for children and young people up to the age of 18 who have a significant adult (such as a parent or grandparent) with a life-limiting illness or who have been bereaved. It offers guidance to parents/carers and advice to schools and other organisations who work with children, as well as one to one and group support for children and young people. The Meerkat Service accepts referrals where a family is currently receiving or has previously received care from Rowans Hospice. However, if you are a family member or professional supporting a child not known to the Hospice they will do their best to help.
