The Brigitte Trust – Practical, Emotional and Social Support in Surrey

What

Charity offering emotional, practical and social support to people living with cancer, end stage organ failure and motor neuron disease. Volunteers visit people at home, in a hospital or hospice. They can assist with tasks like supermarket shopping, library visits, changing the bed, or helping with paperwork, as well as running a number of support groups. People supported have access to a wide range of free services. The Brigitte Trust also runs free 8 week structured bereavement courses for anyone struggling with grief and bereavement. For more information, see website.

People living with life-limiting conditions, their loved ones and carers. Self-referrals and referrals from health and social care professionals, families and friends are accepted. Referral form is on website or contact the service manager
