u3a – University of the Third Age – support for people no longer in full-time employment

What

Nationwide movement providing support to people no longer in full time work. It runs local groups offering various activities from art to zoology. Groups are run by volunteers and members, and people are encouraged to draw on their knowledge and experience to teach and to learn from others. There is a charge for membership, see website for details.
