Blood cancer is the fifth most common cancer in the UK, with over 41,000 people being diagnosed with it every year.

With about 250,000 people living with blood cancer, we take a look at some of the charities and organisations offering support to those living with blood cancer in the UK.

Blood Cancer UK

This organisation provides information, advice and support to people with blood cancer. It advises on how to live with the condition, including dealing with fatigue, emotional worries, money and work. It also has an online community forum for anyone affected by blood cancer to talk, share, ask questions and connect with others.

Race Against Blood Cancer

This charity helps to increase the number and diversity of people who register as blood donors. It organizes initiatives to raise awareness, engage with communities, educate the public and simplify the blood donation procedure.

Leukaemia & Myeloma Research

Specialising in stem cell therapy for people living with blood cancer this organisation provides information about stem cell therapies and offers free stem cell storage services for people that qualify.

Myeloma UK

Myeloma UK support everyone affected by myeloma, and are committed to finding a cure. It offers a range of advice and support through digital events, carer support, support groups, discussion forums, and qualified myeloma information specialists and nurses.
