Support for Pancreatic Cancer in the UK | Pancreatic Cancer Awareness

There are around 10,500 pancreatic cancer diagnoses every year across the UK, making it the 10th most common cancer diagnosed. November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month, so we’ve taken a look at some of the pancreatic support organisations available in the UK.

Pancreatic Cancer Action

Focused on the early detection and public awareness of pancreatic cancer, this charity provides intensive free online information to people living with pancreatic cancer. You can also order their patient information booklets with easy to understand information for any questions you may have about pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic Cancer UK

This national charity offers an array of support for those living with pancreatic cancer in the UK. Support includes a helpline run by specialist nurses, a discussion forum and online support sessions where you can connect with others affected by pancreatic cancer.

Planets Cancer Charity

Planets Cancer Charity is focuses on fundraising for pancreatic, abdominal, liver, and neuroendocrine cancer. The funding goes to support groups, innovative treatments and research. It also offers virtual support meetings and events which are available to view on its website.

Pancreatic Cancer Action Scotland

The Scottish branch of this charity was formed by the merging of two established organisations in Scotland. Offering information and support available to those affected by pancreatic cancer in Scotland, they offer the chance to join the Pan Can Clan – their newsletter programme for news and updates.
